Off the beaten track

Whether you're skiing, snowboarding or surfing, you'll always have more fun without crowds. We live in a busy, highly populated world so its inevitable that some destinations - usually those close to major airports - are going to get slammed.

We specialise in seeking out the less well known gems, places that offer amazing conditions but where you don't have to fight for them. Not only will you enjoy more of the best conditions but the possibility of adventure is far greater.

Places like Fernie and Red Mountain offer some of the deepest snow and most exciting terrain and can often feel like private mountains reserved just for Nonstop! Banff has three ski resorts together offering more terrain than any other ski area, and Taghazout, Morocco is a far cry from the crowded lineups of the Gold Coast or Bali.

Founded as a family-run company by two instructors Nonstop has grown into one of the leading ski & snowboard coaching companies.

2002 - Nonstop founded in Fernie, B.C. by cousins Rupert & Lisa
2003 - First Nonstop clients arrive for our now legendary 11 week course
2004 - Our first Coaching Camps & Holidays are delivered
2005 - We introduce instructor training in Banff and Red Mountain
2007 - We purchased & renovated a 43 room ski lodge
2008 - Whistler welcomes its first Nonstop participants
2009 - Snow Safaris launched, 2-wk road trips to Canada's best powder
2010 - We head south to New Zealand
2011 - Launch of "Community Days" our charitable teaching program
2012 - Winners of "Best Gap Year Ski Company" by The Independent
2013 - Voted "Best UK Tour Operator" at the World Snow Awards
2014 - $7,500 raised for Wildsight & Emily Brydon Ski Foundation
