UK Office

Rupert Taylor

Managing Director

Rupert has been snowboarding for fifteen years and during his gap year spent a season in Quebec training to become a snowboard instructor. After graduating from university Rupert returned to Canada, this time to work as an instructor in Fernie before deciding to pass on his passion by starting NONSTOP.

Having learnt to surf while at university Rupert has since been dedicated to spending as much time in the water as possible including a two month camper van trip along Europe's coast, trips to Bali, El Salvador, Costa Rica, the Hebredies and Morroco.

His passion for mountain biking started in Canada when he was on work trips to Fernie. Since then he's been using his weekends to ride in England and Wales and been fortunate to ride in Chamonix and Fernie.

Rupert is responsible for coordinating with our Resort Directors and ensuring that NONSTOP courses live up to, and surpass, all your expectations.

Georgie Bushe

Course Advisor and Operations

Georgie has skied all her life but decided to try her hand at snowboarding during her season in Fernie in 2003 and hasn’t looked back since! As a previous NONSTOPper what better experience could you have? Just before NONSTOP snapped her up, she spent the summer of 2007 “living the dream”... with her brand new 6’8 pretty blue mini mal she attempted to teach herself the art of surfing. After 4 months of surfing during the day and waitressing at night she was hooked and now heads to the beach at every available opportunity, including a recent trip to Morrocco.

Georgie is passionate about the beach, the surf, the mountains and all outdoor adventure, so feel free to give her a call or email her about our snow, surf and mountain bike camps, she loves to chat!

Adam Hillier

Course Advisor

Adam joined NONSTOP Adventure in December 2009 after six years of travelling the world, pursuing a life outdoors in the mountains and on various far away beaches. An avid hiker, Adam has trekked all over the world and spent time in remote places such as the jungles of Malaysia and Papua New Guinea, the mountains of New Zealand and Canada and the furthest reaches of South East Asia. Surfing has become a favoured pastime of Adam’s along his journey and he has been fortunate enough to surf at some of the world’s great locations such as Margaret River (Western Australia), Tofino (Vancouver Island), Biarritz (France), Bali (Indonesia), Bondi beach and surfers paradise (East Australia) and of course our very own Cornwall!

Adam spent the last four winters teaching Skiing and Snowboarding in the Canadian Rockies before taking a full time position in the NONSTOP team. His thirst for pursuing adventures around the globe makes him the perfect person to talk to if you are considering an adventure trip with NONSTOP, be it on a mountain bike, a surf board, a snowboard or a pair of skis! Give Adam a call or drop him an email for any advice or assistance or just to chat about the joys of mountain and beach life.

Pete Rees

Marketing Director

Pete lives for the mountains. After learning to snowboard at the ripe old age of 25, he hasn't looked back. He spent three weeks in Fernie with NONSTOP in 2008 and became a CASI level 1 snowboard instructor. Unable to settle in the city after that amazing experience, he then moved to Chamonix, France, where he spent the winters exploring some of Europe's best backcountry and the summers hiking and biking the Mont Blanc Massif.

Before his career break, Pete worked on some of the Action Sports Industry's leading media brands, including Whitelines Snowboard Magazine, Onboard Snowboarding, The Surfer's Path, Dirt Mountainbike Magazine and Surf Europe.

If you want to talk to anyone about career breaks or the decision to spend time in the mountains, Pete will be happy to give you some firsthand information. Drop him an email here.

Kelly Wright

Book Keeper and Office Manager

Kelly does an amazing job of keeping the NONSTOP London office in check with her accounting wizardry and organisational skills. But it’s not all facts and figures with our Kelly, she’s got a very active lifestyle. Over recent years she’s completed the Great South Run (10m) twice, The Great North Run (1/2 marathon) and has cycled from London to Paris over 3 days. All of which helped her raise a stack of money for charity, which is something that she’s passionate about. She’s always looking for the next challenge for a good cause, so any suggestions are more than welcome! To top all that off, she’s also been a keen skier for the last 10 years. So, feel free to contact Kelly about your accounting or payment enquiries or to just egg her on in her latest challenge!

Canadian Team

Dave Richards

Operations Director

A bit of a lynch pin in the NONSTOP machine, Dave has been instrumental in shaping the character and structure of our programmes from the very beginning. He started skiing almost three decades ago and has made a career out of the ski industry, skiing and working in various resorts throughout Europe and North America. He finally settled in Fernie because of the great community, the breathtaking scenery, and in his opinion some of the best powder and best MTB trails in the world!

As a past ski instructor, cat-ski guide, white water rafting guide, kayak guide and mountain safety lecturer Dave's knowledge of the industry is unrivalled. He knows Fernie's slopes and trails like the back of his hand and has proven himself to be excellent at organising first class training programmes. Dave likes nothing better than to be outdoors with our participants and will happily share his vast knowledge of the mountains and the sports he loves.
